Last updated: 12th September 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Blood Academy website, digital platform, courses, and related products (including digital content and physical workbooks). By accessing our website, registering for a course, or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content provided by Blood Academy, including but not limited to course materials, presentations, videos, recordings, workbooks, text, images, graphics, and logos, is the intellectual property of Blood Academy and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Course events and recordings are provided for the sole use of the registered participant. Content must not be recorded, copied, reproduced, shared, distributed, modified, republished, uploaded, or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written consent of Blood Academy.

Where a copy of course materials or a recording is made available after an event, this is for personal, non‑commercial use only. Any unauthorised use, including recording live sessions or sharing login details, may result in termination of access without refund and may lead to legal action.

If you wish to reproduce or otherwise use any Blood Academy content, it is your responsibility to obtain written permission in advance.

2. Course Content and Learning Outcomes

Blood Academy endeavours to ensure that all courses and materials are accurate, up to date, and of high educational quality. However, we do not guarantee that course content or learning outcomes will fully meet individual expectations or specific professional requirements.

Blood Academy accepts no liability for dissatisfaction with course content, presentation style, or perceived outcomes, provided the course has been delivered as described.

3. Use of the Website and Digital Platform

You agree to use the Blood Academy website and digital platform for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or platform

  • Share your account credentials with others

  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code

  • Use the platform in any way that may disrupt or damage our services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the website or courses if these Terms are breached.

4. Links to Third‑Party Websites

Courses and website content may include links to third‑party websites over which Blood Academy has no control. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or content of these external websites and accept no liability for any loss arising from their use.

5. Registration and Data Protection

By registering for a course or creating an account, you consent to Blood Academy processing your personal information for the purposes of course delivery, administration, and certification.

Your information will not be used for direct marketing without your consent. Full details of how we collect, use, and store personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

6. Course Delivery and Cancellations

Blood Academy reserves the right to amend, reschedule, or cancel any course, event, or digital offering at any time. Where a course is cancelled by Blood Academy and no suitable alternative is offered, a refund may be issued at our discretion.

7. Recorded Courses and Events

Live virtual courses and events may be recorded. By joining a session, you automatically consent to the recording of audio, visual content, and materials shared during the session.

If you do not consent to being recorded, you must notify Blood Academy in writing in advance of the event. We will make reasonable efforts to address concerns where possible, but access to the session may not be possible without consent to recording.

8. Refunds and Returns

Digital Products

Refunds for digital products (including online courses, downloadable materials, and access to the digital platform) are not routinely provided. Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances, at the sole discretion of Blood Academy.

Physical Products (Textbooks)

We do accept refunds on physical textbooks.

If you are not satisfied with a textbook, you may return it within 14 days of receipt.

  • Items must be returned to us before a refund can be issued.

  • A refund will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.

  • Deductions may be made if the item shows clear signs of use or damage.

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of tracked return shipping.

9. Payment and Access

All prices are stated in GBP unless otherwise indicated. Access to digital courses and content is granted only once payment has been successfully received. Blood Academy reserves the right to suspend access where payment is disputed or reversed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blood Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our website, courses, or materials. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant product or course.

11. Changes to These Terms

Blood Academy reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By accessing this website and participating in any Blood Academy course, you agree to the conditions outlined in these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We strongly recommend that you review both documents carefully.
